Ugh I hate people like this. Let people do what they want an shut up. Just cause you bitch about someone(s) doing stuff you don’t like doesn’t mean you’re gona change the whole world of it. And on top of that……that’s racists lol

My words exactly :)

No. You need to shut up. I don’t even know why your ignorant ass was on my blog in the first place, talking about that was “racists” get the fuck outta here.

The point is, white people need to stop forcing their hair to do things it doesn’t do in order to seem “edgy” or “eclectic.” Now, black people do the same to our hair, we perm it & force it to take chemicals that destroy it, but we do this for the reason that society has taught us that our hair is “nappy” & “nigger hair.” We’ve been taught that it’s ugly.

But when white people have the NERVE & the AUDACITY to poopoo our culture as if black is the absolute worst possible thing to be, then take our fashion & act as if it’s something that’s beautiful but ONLY WHEN THEY DO IT, that’s when we get pissed off.

Why are dreads seen as something “thuggish” or “urban” when black people do it, but when white people do it, it’s “artistic” & “different?” THAT’S what pisses us off, & I applaud this girl on twitter for calling it out.

White people don’t get to pick & choose what’s beautiful in a culture that’s not theirs, much less one that they’ve tried to destroy.
